Westminster PONY Baseball is a recreational youth league that has offered a quality baseball experience to the community for many years. Our goal is to provide fun, competitive baseball instruction, practices and games to children aged 4 to 16 that will help them grow into healthier and happier adults.

PONY is an acronym for Protect Our Nation's Youth. The concept came from boys at a local YMCA in Pennsylvania several decades ago, and the name originally stood for "Protect Our Neighborhood Youth." When PONY became an worldwide program in the 1950s, the word "neighborhood" was expanded to "nation."  There are now hundreds of local PONY league programs around the United States.

PONY baseball is organized with two-year age brackets: Shetland Division;Pinto Division for ages 7-8; Mustang Division for ages 9-10; Bronco Division for ages 11-12; Pony Division for ages 13-14; and Colt Division for ages 15-16.   Play is governed by the official rules of Major League Baseball, modified in some cases as appropriate for the various age groups.
Westminster PONY Baseball is a volunteer organization. Our ability to serve the kids depends on members of the community. We are looking for volunteers to serve during this year's season in positions such as coach and assistant coach. If you would like to participate, please contact us at: (657) 200-1221 or email WTMPONY@gmail.com
